Job description
Help us get to the next level!
Manometric is transforming orthoses and prosthetics from necessities to products people love to wear. We build our own proprietary 3D scanners, along with highly innovative brace designs and automation software. With a diverse team of 50 talented people, our company is getting ready to expand worldwide. We’re looking for a senior industrial design engineer to help us get to the next level!

How you will make an impact
You will joint the team that is responsible for the development of our orthoses and scanner portfolio, working at the forefront of medical technology with which you will have a direct impact on people's lives. You will work closely together with our experts (engineers, software developers and designers) and external partners, giving you access to state-of-the-art 3D technologies in scanning and production. Manometric is an ambitious and entrepreneurial environment, where you are able to implement your projects directly into the medical domain.

What you need to succeed
You are passionate and driven to improve people’s lives through technology. You are curious, eager to learn and not afraid to get your hands dirty. You see the value in collaboration and are not afraid to look for opportunities outside of Manometric. With your analytical mindset, you are able to translate company goals into concrete projects and execute them towards production and implementation.

Job requirements
We also need you to bring this to the table
Minimal 3 years of experience working in a design engineering context, as well as a broad range of design phases including user research, concept development, embodiment design and design for manufacturing.
You can inspire the team through communicating your design vision in a compelling way.
You're able to think conceptually and can share ideas clearly.
You can take ownership of projects and direct their courses according to our quickly evolving company strategy and can lead a project group.
You can sympathise with our users and design solutions accordingly.
You enjoy having a hands-on role in the projects themselves and are able to translate ideas into prototypes to test your assumptions fast.
You have experience with and can advise on materialisation, manufacturing methods and durability. Experience with high end 3D-printing, soft-goods, silicones and composites is a plus.
You're able to venture outside of the company and find and collaborate with production- and knowledge-partners.
You have a strong sense of design aesthetics.
You are proficient in 3D modelling tools, such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion360 or equivalent.
What we offer you in return
A position in a fast growing company with a direct impact on people’s lives.
The chance to learn from and work alongside our Head of R&D Daan, Senior Design Engineers Vincent & Bart, CTO Martijn and many more diversely skilled and talented team members (including industrial design, hardware and software).

Freedom of flexible working times and working remotely.
Great benefits and competitive salary (€3200-€5500 depending on experience)
