Manometric

Manometric is transforming orthoses and prosthetics from medical necessities to products people love to wear. We build our own proprietary 3D scanners, along with highly innovative brace designs and automation software. With a growing team of 45+ talented specialists, our company is getting ready to expand worldwide. We’re looking for a junior industrial design engineer to help us get to the next level!


How you will make an impact

You will be responsible for the development of our orthoses and scanner portfolio, working at the forefront of medical technology with which you will have a direct impact on people's lives. You will work closely together with our experts (engineers, software developers and designers) and external partners, giving you access to state-of-the-art 3D technologies in scanning and production. Manometric is an ambitious and entrepreneurial environment, where you are able to implement your projects directly into the medical domain.

You are passionate and driven to improve people’s lives through technology. You are curious, eager to learn and not afraid to get your hands dirty. You see the value in collaboration and are not afraid to look for opportunities outside of Manometric. With your analytical mindset, you are able to translate company goals into concrete projects and execute them towards production and implementation.

Job requirements

We also need you to bring this to the table

  • You feel comfortable with all facets of product development, including user research, concept development, embodiment design and design for manufacturing.
  • You can communicate your design process and outcomes in a compelling and structured manner.
  • You're able to think conceptually and can share ideas quickly.
  • You can empathize with our patients and translate patient insights into design solutions.
  • You can show your experience of your hands-on approach which shows you are able to translate ideas into prototypes to test your assumptions faster.
  • You have a strong interest in materialisation, production methods and durability. Experience with 3D-printing, soft-goods and silicone is a plus.
  • You're able to venture outside of the company and find and collaborate with production- and knowledge-partners.
  • You have a strong sense of design aesthetics.
  • You enjoy working in 3D modelling tools, such as SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion360 or equivalent.
