About Manometric

Manometric is transforming orthoses and prosthetics from necessities to products people love to wear. We have built a proprietary 3D Hand Scanner, along with highly innovative brace designs and automation software. With a growing team of 50+ talented specialists, and a brand-new office in The Hague our company is getting ready for hyper-growth. We're now looking for our first in-house Legal Counsel to help guide us through this exciting next stage of growth.

How you will make impact

As our in-house Legal Counsel, you’ll play a pivotal role in building our internal legal function and you will be responsible for providing legal clarity, advice, and hands-on support across strategic decisions, partnerships and transactions. You will have access to our excellent external partners from top tier law firms for specialized legal matters. You will work closely with the founders and collaborate across the company including Sales, Operations, R&D, Finance, HR and Compliance. We’re looking for someone who can balance legal precision with pragmatism and flexibility, ensuring we can keep moving fast. From drafting and negotiating contracts to advising on complex deals, you’ll ensure our business relationships are built on strong, future-proof legal foundations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts including NDAs, partnership, supplier, consultant, health insurer, and licensing agreements.
• Advising on employment contracts, subcontractor agreements, and labour law matters.
• Supporting legal aspects of equity, debt, M&A transactions, employee participation schemes and financing rounds.
• Liaising with external experts to ensure compliance in tax- and financial matters.
• Collaborating with R&D to manage and protect our growing IP portfolio.
• Supporting our Compliance Lead on legal aspects where necessary.
• Managing insurance coverage and policy reviews. 
• Maintaining oversight of legal obligations, contract deadlines and our data room.

Our ideal candidate has relevant scale-up experience, preferably in the healthcare space, is proactive and thrives in a changing environment. The position is for at least 24 hours a week, depending on your experience and preference. 

What we are looking for:

• Master’s degree in Dutch Law (or equivalent).
• Excellent working proficiency in English and Dutch.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach.
• Sharp ability to balance legal risks with pragmatism in business opportunities.
• Deep care for the quality of your work and the impact it will have on our clients. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus. 
• A broad legal knowledge, with working experience in at least some of the following fields: commercial contracts, HR/employment law, M&A, IP, or tax.
• Comfortable working independently while collaborating with external legal advisors and internal stakeholders.
• The ability to get things done in a fast-paced environment while maintaining overview.
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience, including in-house and/or scale-up environments.
