Not long ago, a man walked into our office with a guitar under his arm. He had written a song for Manometric - and for the first time in three years, he could play again. All thanks to a small, perfectly fitting hand brace.
That’s what we build. At Manometric, we design and produce custom orthoses using proprietary 3D scanning, smart software and scalable production. We bring cutting-edge technology to bear on the age-old orthopedic industry. Growing rapidly, we face a host of scaling challenges that require true systems thinking. To solve these challenges as fast as they arise, we're hiring a Digital Solutions Lead, with end-to-end ownership of our hardest business problems.
The role you play in our growth
How do we let our practitioners focus on the patient in front of them instead of the computer? How do we stay nimble while doubling production volume every year? How do we scale in the complicated German healthcare market without crushing administrative load?
These challenges are critical to our growth and you own them. There is no brief - just a vague problem and the mandate to figure it out. You build, buy or duct-tape your way to a solution. As long as you're pragmatic and results-driven, anything is on the table.
You start your day redesigning the flow for replacing a product if the original did not fit right. Before lunch you take Tristan (Full Stack Developer) through your wireframes so he can start building. After a sunny lunch outside, you sit with Midas (3D modeler) to discuss his ideas for Odoo, the ERP in which our production teams work. One improvement you implement straight away, another you pass on to Hans (Odoo consultant). Sitting at the 3D team, you can see a stream of patients leaving the building happy with their new brace. It makes the positive impact of your work very tangible. Heading back to your desk with the software team, you end the day improving your consultation hour scheduling tool with Claude. This tool has already increased practitioner utilization rate by 13% and climbing, meaning that patients get helped days or weeks earlier!
Put plainly: You are the leading edge of the software team. You work closely with users and department heads to understand problems and you design technology solutions to them. Some of these solutions you build yourself, others you rally our software engineers or external consultants around. You report to Tjebbe (Head of Software), who helps you with prioritization and how to tackle these problems most effectively.
You’ve crushed it in 12 months if you made multiple vague and complex problems disappear. People don’t remember that they were once problems. Now they just work.
Job requirements
Who we are looking for
You are a great fit if you:
Have 2–6 years of operating experience in a rapidly scaling environment where processes were still being built.
Are a barrel. You have successfully owned complex projects: product launches, market entries or software implementations. You have a track record of turning failing projects into major successes.
Have experience building software, configuring off-the-shelf systems or creating internal tooling. You don’t need to be a software engineer, but you need to be a systems thinker and builder.
Use AI tooling in smart ways to rapidly analyze problems and create solutions. You can teach us something we don’t yet know about how to get value out of Claude.
Have worked extensively with non-technical teams. You demonstrably understand their context and have greatly improved their ways of working in ways that they themselves didn’t yet know they needed.
Want to drive impact as an individual contributor and operator. Spending a day laser focused on a problem energizes you.
You’re fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
