Job description
Transforming Care Through Precision
Not too long ago, a man walked into our office with a guitar under his arm. He had written a song for Manometric - and for the first time in three years, he could play again.
We’ve moved beyond the traditional to create a new standard in orthotics, using our proprietary 3D hand scanners and automation software to change lives. We work directly with hospitals and clinics across the Netherlands and have expanded into Germany. At Manometric, everything revolves around that one magical moment. But to make that moment possible? That is where you make the difference. You bridge the gap between a digital scan and a life-changing product.
The role you play in our growth
As a 3D CAD Designer/ Modeller at Manometric, you are the architect of a perfect fit. You own the journey from a client’s 3D scan to a finished, high-performing brace. You mediate between the clinical requirements of our orthopedic technicians and the technical realities of our manufacturing teams. In this role, you start by mastering our product range and way of working, but quickly grow into improving what we build and how we build it.
In this role, you’ll move master execution and go on to help scale our workflows while raising the overall quality. Where you’ll also work on:
You’ll quickly become an expert in our hand, finger, and wrist portfolio, ensuring every product is designed and produced perfectly
You’ll dive deep into multiple forms of 3D design, from parametric and solid modeling to t-splines, while testing the cutting edge of 3D printing materials and techniques
You’ll work alongside a world-class team of Orthopedic Specialists, Industrial Designers, and Engineers to push the boundaries of what’s possible
Improve products and workflows as you gain experience
Job requirements
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a designer who wants more than just modelling. Someone who:
Has experience with 3D CAD modelling (e.g. SolidWorks, Rhino or Fusion360)
Goes the extra mile when needed and supports the team during peak production moments
Works with precision and has a sharp eye for detail - every millimeter matters
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys the challenge of working efficiently under pressure
Takes ownership and is proactive in improving products and processes, not just executing them
Cares deeply about the impact of their work on patients and the final product
What we offer
We believe building products that reshape orthopaedic care will already get your heart racing - but of course, there’s more:
A competitive salary between €2.500 - €2.900 gross per month, depending on experience
A role for 36-40 hours per week
25 vacation days and a solid pension scheme of 10%
Flexible hours and the option to work hybrid
A fast-growing company with direct impact on thousands of lives
Training in different 3D CAD techniques and software (Surface, Mesh, Solid)
A multidisciplinary team of designers, hardware engineers and software developers
An open, entrepreneurial environment with real ownership and freedom in how you work
